Approvals and versions

Mark frames ready for development, and bring back any earlier design.

Approve a frame

Every frame has an approval state, shown on its label:

  • Draft — the starting state.
  • Ready for dev — someone approved it, against the exact version they reviewed. The label records who and when.
  • Needs review — the design changed after approval.

Changing a ready frame's HTML or size drops it back to needs review. Renaming, moving, hiding or locking it keeps the approval. Copies of a frame start as drafts.

Version history

Every save of a frame keeps the design it replaced. Open the history to see earlier versions with their size, author and time, and restore one for everyone. Restoring keeps the current design in the history first, so it can be undone the same way. Undo and redo also work across the canvas.
