Codex

Add Floo to the Codex CLI and the ChatGPT desktop app's Codex tab.

The Codex CLI, the Codex IDE extension and the Codex tab in the ChatGPT desktop app share one configuration, so you only add Floo once.

Add the server and sign in

codex mcp add floo --url https://worker.floo.design/mcp
codex mcp login floo

login opens a browser tab: sign in to Floo and approve the connection. codex mcp list shows the server.

For the Apps library on its own:

codex mcp add floo-apps --url https://worker.floo.design/mcp/apps
codex mcp login floo-apps

Or edit config.toml

The command above writes this to ~/.codex/config.toml:

[mcp_servers.floo]
url = "https://worker.floo.design/mcp"

Without a browser

With an agent key, keep the key in an environment variable and point Codex at it instead of running login:

[mcp_servers.floo]
url = "https://worker.floo.design/mcp"
bearer_token_env_var = "FLOO_AGENT_KEY"

Start designing

Work on Floo canvas cnv_8hQ2x. Start with get_guide and follow it.
